This selection early work explores the combination of amphibian and tree forms while expanding my technical understanding of porcelain. These experiments with form, material, and process helped shape the direction of my current work.
Serious Influences
Amphibians are known as the canaries of the forest, as they alert scientists that there is an imbalance in the environment; they are the first to be negatively influenced by pollution, habitat loss, as their skin is delicate, and as they are reliant on water systems.
